M-a contactat un tip si ma ruga daca il pot ajuta cu o chestie. Asta e mesajul lui:

Ich habe vor 2 Jahren einmal Bremsscheiben vorne und Bremssättel vorne bekommen und habe meinen GSA auf diese Teile umgebaut, denn die Bremsscheiben vom Oltcit sind innenbelüftet.

Ich möchte nun eine größere Menge von Bremsscheiben und Bremssätteln(ca. für 10 Autos) kaufen, weiß aber in Rumänien "k"eine Adresse, wo so etwas erhältlich ist.

Da der Transport ein Problem ist, würde ich selber nach Rumänien kommen und die Teile abholen.

Ich weiß nicht, wo du wohnst in Rumänien, aber ist es möglich eine Adresse in der Nähe der Grenze zu finden, wo ein Oltcithändler solche Teile auftreiben kann?

Ich kann nämlich leider nicht Rumänisch

Concret, tipul are nevoie de discuri de frana de Oltcit, ca sunt ventilate. Vrea discurile si
etrierele. Vrea 10 seturi. Vrea sa stie o adresa de une le-ar putea cumpara din romania... Tipul e de pe un forum nemtesc de posesori de GSA.
Cum il ajutam???

Cica tipul nu stie romaneste, da vorbeste engleza + germana.

Gabii Marca banul si adresa si il ajutam - le luam noi din magazin ohooo, 10 seturi. golim toate magazinele ACSA.
in alta ordine de idei, omul are de gand sa vina in RO sau vrea sa il ajutam si cu transportul?? Pai tocmai mi-a scris ca vrea 20 de etriere si 30 de seturi de placute de frana!
Ja, wobei ich Bremsscheiben um 10 Stk mehr möchte.

Das heißt: 20 Bremssättel, 30 Bremsscheiben

na, ca m-a invatat Razvan cum e cu poz(n)ele Iarasi mi-a scris tipul asta, are o cutie GSA de 5 trepte de vanzare!!!

nu ma alea le-a primit anu trecut in august de la mine, cind s-a dus supy in Austria si i le-a carat personal, de si-a rupt umaru si atunci le-a facut si poze. Bre, spre RUSINEA MEA nu l-am rezolvat... Astept sa termen de renovat si il invit la arad sa beam o berica romaneasca. Apoi poate luam si piesele..

Mi-a tot scris saracu pana i-am spus ca nu am timp momentan nici sa respir.. .adica plec la 7 fara ceva la scarbici si pe la 3 -4 ajung acasa, ma schimb, iau salopeta si merg la lucru la apartament...
Acasa ma intorc pe la 9 -10 seara...
In fine, sper sa se termine astea odata si odata... bre omu e ala de are megasquirt pe un Citroen Ami 8 ! adica motor de Oltcit special, si o cutie de 2CV. Cu injectie electronica.

Io i-am dat 2 perechi anu trecut, discuri cu etriere cu placute, da asta inseamna deja 30 kg ! Cind i-am pus lu supy bagaju in mina, a intrat asta 20 cm in peronu garii, ca zmeu cind sa lupta cu fat frumos...
10 perechi vine 150 kile, yah, suuuure ...

si LEGAL NU SE POT EXPORTA ca sint piese auto si intra in comunitatea europeana si nu au norme ! Si chiar daca le exporti ai 30% taxe ...

Tipul e destul de dragut. mi-a trimis si o poza de linga localitatea austriaca "Fucking", unde imediat sub panou de intrare in localitate e o placa cu 2 copii mici desenati ... inteleaga fiecare ce-o vrea Duke, tu glumesti, ..

n-am stiut ca e chiar tipul ala maniac cu Citronelu ala ami... cu motor oltcit, care a rupt ambreiaju in cativa km..??+

Tipul cu Citroen Ami cu Megasquirt este Horst Koschuta, de pe linga Graz, care e amic cu acest Alex Berger.
Horst Koschuta mi-a cerut 2 perechi de discuri cu etrieri: una pentru el, una pentru Alex asta.
Suparatuu s-a intilnit cu acest Alex in gara din Viena.
Io i-am incurcat, da povestea e aceeasi.

Cats e din Belgia, e alt maniac, si pe asta il cunosc de prin 2000. Il cheam Staecken sau ceva imposibil de la ei, si e un simpatic. La vremea respectiva era programator si el, si de placere recupera troace vechi uitate pe la ferme la tara, le reconditiona (luni de zile de munca), si le punea motoare si cutii de .... Citroen Axel adica racire cu aer, frine la cutie (esential pentru roti de masini vechi), adaptare usoara, putere mare.
Prin Cat Staecken i-am cunoscut pe austrieci dealfel.

We dont have any Axels run in Austria, but isnŽt the careburetor the same as in some types of GS/Ami Super?

could anyone give me the lenght of the screw to fit the calipers to the transmission ?

Claus hello claus, and welcome to our forum. i have the lenght you asked for, but i hope you have the 1129/1299 gearbox, because i only have the dimensions for those type of calipers. the 652 cmc gearbox uses different calipers(smaller) and the screw could be slightly different.
so, as i was saying, the lenght is 160 mm. if you want the 2 diametres of the screw, i could help you again, but not at this hour because i don't have my measuring tools with me.
be carefull, this screw is made from a hardened steel, not the ordinary one you may find in the stores.
for other questions, don't hezitate to ask.

p.s. here is a picture of your screw: "the" screw Pupa, vezi ca la suruburi lunginea se da de sub hexagon, iar pe capul surubului, pe hexagon, ar trebui sa fie grupa (la asta banuiesc ca e 10., dar verifica totusi. Daca ii da metricul, lungimea si grupa, nu are ce sa greseasca. bre, nu zic nu... ai dreptate. dar la ora aia aveam in casa numai o ...linie(shublerul este in "garaj"). masurat asa, fix 16 cm. initial masurasem sub hexagon, dar masuratoarea nu era exacta...

thanks, I understand the problem.
Sorry, I'don't own a Oltcit, but a Visa 652, a 2CV and some other crazy cars.
But I'm interrested in Oltcit because it is a Citroen , and as you have a look to my lomax, I want to install a GSA transmission in combination with a Moto Guzzi engine.
On this car the brake is problem: There is the heat of the engine, the brake is nearby the also hot tranmission, in back you have only a single wheel with the original brake (forget it) and in the front a 70 HP Power station
By this way I want also to install the ventilated disc brakes of the oltcit on front.
I think this is no problem, but first I have to clear the way of tranportation to germany.

on short, is like this:
- you can still find ventilated discs, new, in store.
- you CANNOT find any new brake calipers and pistons in store. Brake calipers and pistons only from dismantling of old cars.
- you can find brake plates , new, in store, both for main brake and handbrake (which are in the same calipers, on front)

As for transport ... on what I know, officially is illegal to enter any auto-parts from outside European Union, as a private person (not being a company). Even if you do, you have to have papers for them and pay at customs about 30% taxes + VAT, as we are still outside EU.

It can be done by someone going to Germany, if it happens and he is willing to try to "avoid" customs officers, or you could make a trip yourself to the north-west of our beautiful country Hi Duke,

This could be a nice idea, to make some days holiday in Romania and visit some scrapyards.. .

If it's some kind of practical joke, then it's one of the club's members that's trying to make me to loose some time, as he knows I helped some austrian guys and also a russian with Oltcit spare parts before.

BTW, who is Burton ?

I ment north-west because is closer to Germany and we have some forum members there (Baia Mare, Oradea, Arad, Timisoara) that are serious enough and may be able to help you. ValiB, AdyF, Gabii and others.

But why not, come to Bucharest or Craiova directly
And then make a ski or mountainbike trip to Olt Valley or Prahova Valley, on the way home. I can help you, if you want too. I'm thinking of buying an Oltcit for spare parts, and we could buy it together, or I could go and find the stuff you need, and you could come after them, or I don't know...

I'm riding also mountain bike, the last year I build up my Burton I hasn't so much time but this year.....
In 2004 I did a alp-crossing with the bike, 800 km and 10000 high-meters in 6 days, wonderful / terrible.

I think of doing a mountainbike trip in june, for 300 km in 5 days. it goes round, and climbs - descends on transalpine roads and also utilitary roads, with an altitude profile like 700m-1700m-2300m-400m-1600m-700m. Of course, with backpack and tent ...
I only would need a partner, as my wife may not be fit enough for this trip.
I have 2 good bikes ...
And you also could get every part you need on personal choice, and may even fit it on the car if you ome with the car, at very good prices.

INTERESTED ? Bekescaba is in Hungary, at about 35km from Romania(from Salonta, western romania). I moved here now, but i'm visiting Romania almost every week, and my Oltcit is there at my neighbours. I lived in Salonta, close to Oradea.

your car is it a close relative of Lomax? I ask you this because also Lomax is based on the 2 CV chassis . Hi Alf,
the Burton and the Lomax both use the frame of a 2CV, also the engine and the transmission.
The Burton is a Netherland-constuction of 2001, the Lomax a english
construction of 1986.
The Burton has 4 wheels, a original fan-cooled engine and a heating.
He is heavier then the Lomax (500kg) and more comfortable to drive.
The Lomax is available as a 3-wheeler (223) or as a fourwheeler (224)
The engine is direct cooled, no fan, and the Lomax is smaller and lightweight (430 kg) than the Burton.
Both are kitcars.
The Burton I build 2004-2005, the Lomax is a 1996-build car I bought in England 4 month ago.
The Burton has a Visa (=Oltcit Club) 650 ccm engine and a 5-speed gear,
the Lomax in moment a original tunedup 2CV-engine with 2 BMW carburators. I will change in spring 2006 the engine up to a Moto-Guzzi 1000 ccm engine with a GSA (=Oltcit 1300) 5-speed transmission.

I've finished my Lomax now, found the Oltcit-brakes in Czech Republic.
Now another question:
I'm interested in a 4-gear (11RE) gearbox. There are 2 diffent types, one with 9:35 differential and the other with 8:33. How to indentifiy the two types? Are there any data about the building year or anything else to identify the differnt car with these different gearbox ?
