Hola soy de costa rica y necesito saber si se pueden conseguir repuestos para mi oltcit es un club 12 trs ańo 89 se le reventaron las fajas de distribucion y no se ni como sacarle la turbina para cambiarlas aparte me ah estado calentando que puedo hacer???

Goedendag ben ik van Costa Rica en heb behoefte om te weten of men men vervangingsmiddelen kan verkrijgen is gebarsten van voor mijn oltcit is een club 12 jaar 89 trs hem de verdelingsriemen en niet noch zoals hem de turbine weggaan om ze te veranderen me ah stand in scheidt réchauffant die vervolgens doen Rog ca cineva sa traduca mesajul meu in engleza, italiana, germana etc:

Pt a putea scoate de pe motor turbina de aer in vederea inlocuirii curelelor de distributie, se demonteaza:
1. spoiler fatza si grila;
2. faruri;
3. se scoate suportul farurilor;
4. se slabeste alternatorul;
5. se blocheaza motorul cu cuiul de 5 mm, se introduce intr-o treapta de viteze si se trage frina de mina;
6. cu o cheie tubulara de 42 mm si de lungime aproximativa 400-500 mm, dotata cu un prelungitor, se demonteaza piulita impreuna cu RAC-ul;
7. se demonteaza cele 3 piulite cu cheia de 10 mm din centrul deflectorului de aer si cele 4 piulite cu cheia de 8 mm de pe carenajul superior al motorului pt a putea scoate deflectorul si a ajunge la curelele de distributie. ATENTIE !!! sa nu se piarda la demontare, cele 3 distantiere din spatele deflectorului de aer.

Impreuna cu schimbarea curelelor de distributie, este recomandat a se inlocui si rolele intinzatoare ale curelelor.
Mai jos, ai schita de montare a curelelor cu vedere din fata motorului:
To replace the driving belts you must remove the air ventilator first. To remove the air ventilator you must follow the next steps:
1-Remove the front bumper.
2-Remove the auto headlights and holders.
3-Remove the driving belt of the alternator.
4-Obstruct the engine with a bolt ( 5 mm diameter ), block the car in a first gear then use the handbreak to immobilise the car.
5-Whit a 42 mm wrench disassemble the nut and the RAC.
6-Disassemble the 3 nuts with a 10mm wrench of the air deflector center and the 4 nuts with a 8mm wrench of the upper careening.
7-Remove the air deflector.

ATTENTION! Do not lose the 3 spacers from behind of the air deflector.

RECOMMENDATION: Replace the driving belts and the belts pull. Hello! and WELCOME!!!!

OK i go whit my Oltcit

It's a Club 12 TRS
engine 1299 tuning
i change the carbureator
cluth
brakes
pistons
dristributor
and i make some changes on my suspension
i get up the car because i go to rallys and it's to hard and when i want to go and make some drag races i just change the set of my engine and i use to drag
but i really don't like that whit that mechanic i say to i want my original car when i have my car i send some pictures

Ce zice Ca a incercat cu cheia de 42 cum i-am spus noi dar ca n-a reusit.Oricum ne multumeste. Hello!
try to explain please, how did you try to remove with the 42 wrench the nut?
and then I will try to explain what did you do wrong. i try with the 42 wrench but finally i know something about my mechanic he's from rumania and he's name is cosmin enelcu or something like that he's father it's a very nice mechanic from rumania and he are going to fix my car
and yes i try with the 42 wrench but i can't do that
i just have a little question how one user have the panel with the tachometer and odometer and everything with really cool lights how i can do that

regards Hola, Juan! Don't worry about your english. The panel is made with LEDs, it'a little bit of work, but the result is very nice. Perhaps he will tell you some more informations

Mai, nu ma lasati pe afara ca fac infarct . Vreau si eu sa stiu ce spune omul with leds but how you explain the colors of the numbers and everything perhap my tachometer don't work what i need to do to my tachometer work
and somebody see about the turbo for my oltcit

Pai omul nu a zis mare lucru. A zis ca a incercat cu cheie de 42, nu a reusit (nu a spus de ce), asteapta un mecanic care e la origine roman. Se arata in schimb interesat d emodalitatea de realizare a bordurilor iluminae cu LEDuri (la modul cate, unde, etc) si de realizarea supraailimentarii cu turbo. La astea ar putea sa ii dea informatii cei ce poseda asa ceva pe masina.

Poate a incercat cu o cheie fixa sau o tubulara neadecvata. Sa mai incerce si cu o tubulara de 41, lunga cam de 40-50 cm + un prelungitor de 1 m. Inainte de asta, sa imobilizeze motorul sa nu se roteasca.

E posibil sa nu-i intre cheia pt RAC din cauza "CONULUI" de plastic din turbina. Unele turbine, au fost dotate cu un asemenea con. Sa scoata "conul" si nu cred ca nu va reusi sa desfaca piulita.

P.S. Sper ca mesajul sa-i fie tradus cit mai urgent. Poate omul vrea sa-si faca masina.

first, put a nail into the blocking hole of the engine(do you know where is this?)

Try with a 41 hexagonal wrench, with a prolongation of 1meter
or try with a 42 hexagonal wrench with prolongation
maybe you couldn't unscrew the screw because of some plastic on the screw. Look for this too....and if there is some plastic on the screw, take it out.
It's very easy do take out the 42 screw...no big deal


or, if you want...i can go to you, and we could make a reborn of your oltcit:) but i don't have the money for the airplane to you:(
thanks to everybody i finish found a really good mechanic cosmin enelcu ot's from rumania but if somebody are going to come to costa rica just tell me i con do really good things!!!!!! maybe when my car go out from the mechanic i am going to put some really big rims i now buy are 58" with rally tires i are going to send some photos

some news from you? well i take my car the next friday i just need to pay for $400 but i a'm happy the pictures are going to be avaible the next saturday or sunday but don't think to are going to be a really nice car i have my car stock maybe for tree months to make some modificatios to the engine and body

where i can find for a turbo for my oltcit??? I think 400$ is a too much for your problem:( . Or not? I don't know how much you earn there, and what prices have the mechanical problems.


do you have a yahoo messenger ID? I could send you a lot of photos, movies with OLTCIT

you can search for oltcit, olcit (some people don't know how to write the name) on www.youtube.com and you will find a lot of movies with Oltcit:)

A turbo for your Oltcit...it's a little bit complicated. You need first another carburateur from a turbo car(max. 1,6liter), and a turbine from a 1,1-1,6liter engine, cooled with water. After you have these, the other stuff you need, are easy to find. You need a fuel pressure regulator, you need a intercooler for the cooling of the turbine, and you need to make a custom exhaust sistem(to take the exhaust gases and to move/rotate the turbine). If you have all these, you need a lot of pipes and a lot of time to make the turbo to work:)

Do you find there Oltcit spare parts?

i am going to work to get the money to pay the fix of my car now not be $600 i are going to pay for $1000 because that man say to be really difficult to repair my car what all of you think tell us what problems did you have, or what does that man that he repaired.

for that money, here, you could buy a shiny oltcit, almost like a new one. can i buy an oltcit full working on your country how much i pay for that well a perfect one, it's about 1000euro

What tail ligts are those? where are your oltcit lights? No offense, but those looks... at least... funny... the original back lights are broken and i just have that to put hai dom'le sa punem mana de la mana si sa-i trimitem niste lampi de pe spate.
Intrebati-l voi ca engleza mea schioapata rau de tot; ce Dumnezeu e dracia aia pusa pe aeroterma si aia de sub acumulator(parca e pusa pe turul de la benzina chestia aia).
As i supposed... sorry for that And you can't find original lights at your place? It's a little sad to have those because your car looks very good.

Plumbres is asking you what are those parts pointed by him with red, under the battery and on the air distributor(i dont know his name in english). I'm curious too

- chestia de pe aeroterma e ceva de la alarma, daca am inteles eu bine

cica pe la ei in tara sunt max 30 oltcituri...
ca pret...al lui a fost 270$
din ce am inteles, mai are 1 pentru piese

are probleme cu incarcarea...ii incarca in sarcina doar 13.7 volti...

expedierea unor piese in costa rica...cred ca banuiti ca vor costa o avere... Cata avere poate fi? Am importat tone de piese fara numar, fara numar din anglia cu DHL... Cu havionu' evident si nu era moarte de om, dar nu mai stiu nici pe departe sume o sa ma interesez eu...
- are nevoie de piese noi pentru alternator (eu i-am zis ca ar fi ok sa cumpere tot nou in alternator), sau de un alternator nou noutz (o sa vad cat costa, poate gasim ceva convenabil)
- i-am spus ca ma interesez de stopuri

l-am rugat sa faca o lista cu ce mai are nevoie.... Vali, daca stii mai multe detalii despre ce are nevoie, vezi ca pe www.dhl.ro ai un motor foarte misto pentru calculat costurile si timpul de transport.

Eu i-am facut un calcul cu colet de 2kg de 20/20/20cm, sa mearga in 3 zile si cica ar costa 120ioro

Sa vad daca mai au si alte modalitati... pai deocamdata stiu de:
- stopuri
- componente alternator (sau alt alternator)
- partea inferioara a aerotermei din compartimentul motor+burdufe aeroterma

i-am spus sa se mai gandeasca ce are nevoie -alt alternator e greu... cu componentele e mai avantajos ca sunt mici si usoare

- stopurile sunt ok

- partea inferioara a aerotermei e mare... eventual o facem feliutze si ii punem un tub de poxipol

Dupa cum am vorbit si pe mess... Daca valoarea componentelor necesare sare de un anumit prag, i se va merita... daca nu, nu... "chestia" dupa aeroterma e o banala siguranta fuzibila(cu tot cu suport). una identica am si eu pe cablul de + care alimenteaza statia audio. english plz ii can't understand nothing

I had to sell my Oltcit due to some engine situations but I'm looking Forward to get other one just as a project to restore....
